I come from the Queendom of Plantae

Mostly I stand upright

Reaching for the sky

and with roots reach deep down into the soil

I have very thin leaves

My leaves grow close together and there are many of them

I need water

I need sunlight

Sun and water care for me

They keep my soil healthy

They make me grow

I like to be close and to spread around

I am spread all over the Earth

I can be found in the sea and on land

I am host to many beautiful beings

I am a host and a provider of food to

caterpillars

grasshoppers

bisons

buffalos

deers

cows

sheep

goats

horses

and many more

To an abundant community

I unfold myself

Like a green blanket

Inviting you in

Giving you warmth and food

A shelter

A home
