Ongoing performative research on embodied experiences of listening to forces of nature and letting the meetings take forms.
“It’s like when you fall in love with a lover or a friend and they unlock something in you, a desire, an interest, a character trait that you did not know you had in you. This is what happens when I discover new places, nature, rural areas, non-urban environments. I fall in love. I improvise with what the surroundings offer me or with something I brought with me to the relationship and I let myself transform.

My research started when I participated in an online workshop in 2020 facilitated by physical theatre company Kristján Ingimarsson Company and visual artist Kirsty Whiten where we explored the theme Female Primordial Force. Since, I have been inspired and hooked on in general to explore embodied experiences of new places, of nature and the unfolding of performative practices when carefully listening to intuition and the voices of nature. How do they want you to interact with them? What do they invite you to do? And what are your own desires in that certain time and place?
While exploring and playing which to me means being curious, focused and carefree, I develop new methods to approach and work with site-specific performances.
I ask: How can we unlock the subconsciousness? How can we enter a new place as if we were entering a dream? How can we dream while we are awake? How can we move freely and fiercely? What kind of performances emerge from this?” – Linh Le
The research has resulted in several videos and photos and more keeps coming.
