Terra Multorum – Land of the Many pays tribute to the many species in the area of Sydhavnstippen. I have written their names on the concrete stones. 37 common species in the outer circle, 12 rare species in the middle circle and 8 endangered species in the inner circle.

I honor species like the Great Mullein (Filtbladet Kongelys) who grow in between bricks and concrete from construction waste. Building waste and residual soil was tipped into the water in the years 1945-1973 in the area that is now known as Sydhavnstippen or Tippen.

Terra Multorum – Land of the Many was performed on Sydbjerget as part of the event “Stien til Sydbjerget”, in collaboration with Sydhavn Teater and Naturplejegruppen.

The installation is still there and names of species on stones can be found on and around Sydbjerget.
