I was invited by Professor in Performance Design and Visual Culture, Michael Haldrup to perform as the wounded amazon in the performance “The Trial of Zeus.” Michael Haldrup performed as the defendant and philosopher, Denis Maksimov as the prosecutor.

In the performance, the sculptures of Glyptoteket come alive when Denis and Michael put Zeus on trial for four crimes, disturbing the minds of the audience and their ideas of the Antiquity and instead setting up speculative futures.

The performance was part of the event Queering the Museum at Glyptoteket during Pride Week 2019. The event is curated by Michael Haldrup. The text of The Trial of Zeus is written by Denis Maksimov. The performance of the wounded amazon is choreographed by Linh Le.
